Linda Rose Curry (nee Devitt)
January 30th, 1949 – Friday July 29, 2022.
Linda passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on July 29th, 2022 due to an accidental fall in Florida the first week of May 2022.
Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joe. Linda is also survived by her sons Lee and Brad, sister Judy (Mike) Gaudrault, brother-in-law Dave (Denise), sister-in-law Nancy Devitt, mother-in-law Lena Varnai. Linda was a loving Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Beth Devitt, brothers Albert, Gord (Barb) and William.
Linda worked at the Lake and Carlton Shopper’s Drug Mart and retired as the Postal Outlet Manager. She was well respected and like by staff and customers. Her customers were always impressed with her helpful and courteous service. Linda loved to travel and meet many new friends along the way. She loved to go boating in Florida with her adopted sister and best friend Paula, watching the dolphins jumping around the boat. Linda was a kind, loving, generous and beautiful lady and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Passfield Mortuary Services Inc. St. Catharines Ontario.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday August 13,2022 at Pleasantview Cemetery, Fonthill Ontario. Family and friends are to meet at the
Main cemetery Entrance at 10:15 for a family procession. Rest in peace now sweetie and sweet dreams.
