Obituary
Linda May Fulton of Birtle, Manitoba, passed away on March 9, 2022, at the Sunnyside Manor Personal Care Home, at the age of 78 years. Linda was born in Birtle, Manitoba, on April 7, 1943. She lived in Birtle until her late teens then moved to Calgary and Carstairs, Alberta. After that she moved to Saskatoon and in March 1999 she returned to Birtle, Manitoba. Linda married Bob Fulton and they lived together in Birtle until Bob’s passing in 2016. Linda worked in home care for the Assiniboine Regional Health Authority from August 10, 1999, to January 14, 2009. She was a member of the Birtle Drop-in Centre and enjoyed floor curling in her spare time. At every place that Mom lived she enjoyed giving back to the community, and she made many lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bob Fulton; her two children from a previous marriage Jason Choptiuk, and Tracy Choptiuk; Parents Bill and Marg Birnie; and sister Joan Wiest. Surviving is her son Ron Poch; sister Barb Salmon; brother George Birnie; daughter Kim Tycholiz; and her three grandchildren. Rest in peace Mom, we all love you dearly. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Birtle cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
