Linda Joan (nee Yetman)
Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Friday, May 8, 2020. Linda Cox, of Manuel’s, CBS, age 72 years. Predeceased by parents Annie and Roy Yetman.
Leaving with beautiful memories and broken hearts, her loving husband of 49 years, Bill; daughters: Suzette (Tom) Grandy and Jo-Ann (Steve Gullage); Nanny’s treasures – granddaughters Kaitlyn and Karlee and grandson Travis; sister Renee (Jim Hannam) of Hamilton, ON and Carol (Len McDonald) ; brother Randy (Valerie) Yetman; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Linda was heavily involved in several organizations including the Society of United Fisherman as Past President of the Ladies Council #41, Vice President and Chaplin of the Superior Ladies Council, Past Secretary of the Cabot Lodge #41 and was involved in the Legion as well as served on various fundraising committees. She did so much for her community and her presence will be missed. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic a visitation and funeral did not take place at the time of her passing. A celebration of life will take place at Topsail United Church on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 2 pm. Reception to follow at the SUF lodge, Topsail. Everyone is welcome.
