It is with profound sadness of
the family that we announce Linda’s quiet passing at Albert
House, Moncton on Sunday, July 24th at the age
of 76. She was born in Moncton and was the daughter of the
late Ellis and Ida (Jamieson) Stockall. She leaves behind
her husband, Brian, of 52 years, a daughter Steph Bealieu, son Bill
Hodgson (Louise & Emma) and granddaughter Olivia Beaulieu all
of Shediac Cape. Also, her sister, Susan MacLeod (Bruce) of
Moncton, brothers David Stockall (Mary Rose) of Cole Harbour and Doug
Stockall (Linda) of Moncton and numerous nieces and nephews as well as
grand nieces and nephews.
Linda worked at The Moncton
Hospital for many years until her retirement. She
was a member of Central United Church in Moncton and St. Martins in
The Woods Anglican Church in Shediac Cape. She was an avid
quilter with both Churches as well as a supporter of many social
committees, dinner theaters and some other social events.
She was a go-to-person at the infamous Turkey and Goose Suppers at the
Young Smith Hall every fall. She enjoyed many years of
bowling She was a big supporter of The Moncton Riverview
Highland Dancers and enjoyed both attending and volunteering at many
of their events.
The family wish to thank the
staff of 4200, the Oncology Unit at The Moncton Hospital and the staff
of Albert House for the amazing care and attention through this
challenging time and also to Dr. Berger, Dr. Roberge and Dr. Francoeur
for their outstanding care

in Linda’s memory may do so to The Friends of The Moncton
Hospital, Albert House, St. Martins in The Woods Memorial Fund or to a
charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held on
Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at St. Martins in The Woods Church,
3394 Rt 134 Shediac Cape, with funeral service to be held on Thursday,
July 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm from the church. Interment at a
later date. Reception to follow in The Young Smith Hall next
door.
