Linda Campbell
Linda Darlene Campbell passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Campbell of Selkirk. She is survived by her sister Isabel (Walter) Mirosh, niece Karina (Glenn) Barr, nephew David (Vernelle) Mirosh and their children Kaley, Taylor and Lydia.
Linda began her working career at Hudson Bay House where she met her best friend Wendy. She then spent ten years living and working in Calgary. On her return to Manitoba Linda worked at Statistics Canada and GreatWest Life.
Linda had a wonderful sense of humour which endeared her to her many friends. She enjoyed crafts, ushering at MTC (30 yrs), jazz dancing, attending PTE and book club. Several trips to the UK were special times Linda shared with Mom.
Special thanks goes to the 3rd floor staff at KPCC and to Marj and Ken Whiklo for taking such good care of Linda.
In following Linda’s wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date.
Linda was a long time member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Selkirk. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be sent to the church’s memorial fund, 341 Eveline Street Selkirk MB R1A 1M9.
