Obituary of Lina Pizzolitto
Lina Pizzolitto
July 12, 1926 – April 12, 2022
Reunited with her loving husband, Oreste, who has been a missing part of her heart for almost 48 years.
We are very sad to announce the passing of our dear Mom, Nonna and Nonna Lina surrounded by family, Fr. Patrick and her Extendicare Tecumseh caregivers to whom we are very much indebted.
Born in Morsano al Tagliamento, Italy to the late Renato and Rosalia Pellarin (Nadalin).
Sister of Edda Drigo (late Ettore), the late Nino Pellarin and the late Adilia Pellarin.
Sister-in-law to Ada Pizzolitto (late Mario) who visited our Mom almost every week for many years.
Loving mother to Adilia Pavlica and Rose M. Mousaly (Adnan).
Cherished grandmother to Melissa, Robert (Mary), Adam (Gina), James (Carolina)
Special great-grandmother to Isabella Pavlica and Vincent Pavlica. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.
Lina worked very hard all her life and loved her family fiercely. She had a beautiful voice, loved to sing, tend to her garden and was a wonderful cook.
Lina will be missed dearly by friends and family in Italy, France, United States and Canada. We are so appreciative of the family and friends who were a friend to her along the way. May she now rest in eternal peace.
