Zinck (Austin), Lilith Grace age 92. It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear mother who passed away peacefully on June 9, 2022, with family at her side. Known most to others as Lila, born in Halifax, NS on October 20, 1929. Mom was predeceased by her parents Walter Austin and Emily Austin (Michelin), her loving husband Lorne. W Zinck; son Scott; sisters Cora (Austin) Moir; Mildred (Austin) Kershaw; brother Rae (Austin); daughter-in-law Diane (Ward) Zinck and grandson Greg. Lila is survived by her children Terry (Emma), Randy (Debbie), Angela (Walter) Crawley, sister in-law Joan Austin, daughter-in-law Janice (Highmore), nieces and nephews from home and away. Throughout mom’s life, she enjoyed her grandchildren Randall (Crystina), Gary, Alana (Joel) Casey, Ryan (Danielle), Scott, and Lauren. Mom also enjoyed her 5 great grandchildren. Throughout her well lived life Mom was tremendously personable, kind-hearted, thoughtful, and caring, and who deeply loved her family and friends unconditionally. We lost a beautiful person and she will live forever in our hearts with many cherished memories. We would like to extend gratitude and thanks to the VON staff, paramedics, and fantastic doctors and staff at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Donations in memory may be made to The Arthritis Society. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
