Lilian Jeanne Matthiessen
(March 4, 1942 – March 4, 2022)
Lilian Jeanne Matthiessen of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Leo Matthiessen; children Richard (Brenda) Matthiessen of Radway, Robb (Carey) Matthiessen of Camrose, and Leah (Byron) Johnson of Smoky Lake; seven grandchildren; and siblings Marilyn Yanik of Fort Smith, NWT, Bunny (Jack) Koosel of Nanaimo, BC, and Lorn Yanik of Kelowna, BC.
Lilian was predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Elsie Yanik; and sisters Delores Humphries and Patricia Hamilton.
The family will hold a celebration of life for Lilian at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Community Center in Heisler. The doors will open at 1:00 pm and the ceremony will start at 2pm.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Lilian’s memory may be made to The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation .
