It is with great sadness that our family announces the unexpected passing of Lila Harper on Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Regina, SK at the age of 87.
Lila was predeceased by her dad John, 1991; mom Annie, 2001; sister Ivy, 2013; first husband Maurice, 2017; second husband Lyle, 2012; the tragic loss of her grandchildren Christopher and Crystal, 1988; and her son Robert in 2019.
Lila was survived by her brother Jack; daughter-in-law Evelyn; children, Rick (Deborah), Brian (Betty), Brenda (Richard), Debbie (Dave), Dean (Darlene) and Tim.
Lila will be missed by her grandchildren Jazlyn, Amanda (Joe), Brandon, Sarah, Michael, Melissa, Nicole, Matthew, Meagan and Patrick; numerous nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
Throughout her life, Mom was a loving, hard working, humorous person. She worked hard at everything she did and would go to the moon and back for the people she loved.
No one knows our heartaches, only those who have lost know the grief that we bear in silence.
A Memorial Service will be held at Broadway United Church on Monday December 12, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Jim Balfour officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial. Flowers most gratefully declined.
