Leslie Thomas Maeck
December 13, 1942-November 17, 2022.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Thomas Maeck. Les passed away peacefully on Thursday November 17th at Eastholme in Powassan Ontario. Beloved husband for 59 years, to Gail Maeck (Stringer). Adored father of Dawn Maeck (Vern), and Brady Maeck (Crystal). Cherished Papa of Morgan and Evan Maeck. Les was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Ollie Maeck. Much loved brother of Alvin (deceased) and Barbara, Harvey (deceased) and Bette Lou. He is survived by his brother Ron (Judy). He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Glenda Standing, brother-in-law John Standing and his many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Opatovsky Funeral Home – Moore Chapel on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 11 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 1pm. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Almaguin Pet Rescue or the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites
