Leslie Four Horns June 2, 1981 – November 25, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leslie Four Horns announce he was called home to the Lord on November 25, 2022. Leslie is survived by his Canadian siblings: Sarah (Merlin), Josh (Jessica), Ross (Jyme), and Jazz Yellow Horn; his American siblings Joseph, Michael, Emerson, Dale and Nicole Four Horns; his adoptive mother Sylvia Four Horns and his great uncle George (Beverly); great aunties May, Terri, Virginia and numerous relatives from the Piikani, Bloods, and Siksika nations. He is also survived by his American aunts Eda Wipperd and Ida Ladue; numerous relatives from Browning Montana; his cousins Jeremy (Jody), Tommy (Dana), Robert (Jessica), Sly, Jaycee (David), Brodie (Lynda), Tyco, Tameka, Bethany (Ben), Jaclyn (Kelly), Chevy, Lisa, and many other cousins from Canada and Montana.
He was predeceased by his mother Edith Old Man Chief and his father Roland Four Horns; paternal grandparents Ronald and Ernestine Four Horns; maternal grandparents Margaret and Eddie Ladue; his great grandparents Edmund and Eva Four Horns; uncles Dean, Emerson and aunt Mary Margaret as well as numerous cousins from north and south of the 49 parallel; his great uncles Gerald, Michael, Louis, Frank and Harvey Four Horns; his great aunties Loretta, Ruth, Sheila and Rhonda Four Horns;
Leslie was raised by his grandparents Ronald and Sylvia Four Horns who later adopted him in the traditional way. He received his education at Matthew Halton High School and graduated 1999. He later enrolled at Lethbridge College for a social work program. In 2010, he worked at Tim Hortons and the Movie Mill in Lethbridge Aberta. He also worked multiple construction jobs in Lethbridge and Calgary and worked as a firefighter.
A Wake Service will be held on Monday, December 5 from 2-10pm at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel in Pincher Creek AB. The Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 6th at 11am at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel with Fr. Roy Jayamaha as Celebrant, followed by burial at Piikani Nation Cemetery in Brocket.
