Peacefully passed away with his wife by his side at The Maples Long Term Care Home in Tavistock, ON, on Tuesday October 4 2022, in his 99th year. Leslie is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan Csanyi (nee Rynik). Loving father of Liz Jewell (Edward) Peter (Wanda). Predeceased by his son Leslie Jr. (Sandra). Dear brother of Thomas (Marie). Leslie will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Steven (Ellen), Christine and great-grandson Boone.
Leslie worked at Mallory Components in Woodstock, Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and CMW (Leslie Jr’s shop) as an electrician. Leslie was well known for his positive attitude, he was always ready and willing to help people with his knowledge, skill and kindness. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at The Maples for their extra care and attention during his stay.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 15th between 2:00 – 5:00 pm at Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VON Sakura House or to the Alzheimer’s Society of Southwest Partners. Personal condolences may be made at www.smithleroy.com
