Leroy Power
January 5, 1967 – April 15, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Leroy Power of Portugal Cove South on April 15, 2022 at the age of 55.
Leroy is pre-deceased by his father Perry, his mother Josephine and his infant sister.
He leaves to mourn his brothers, Basil (Faustina), Darrell (Sharon), Perry (Karen), and his sisters, Bonnie (Paul Osmond) and Trudy (Steve Prince), and their children. Also mourning his loss, his Uncle Tom Hartery.
Leroy will be missed by a large circle of extended family and many friends. A special mention of his long time care givers, Verna (Dolly) and Glenn whom he considered a part of his family.
Leroy was known for his quick wit and amazing sense of humour. His sayings will live on in his family for many years to come. Leroy faced life with joy and always took each day as it came. He never met a stranger and loved to spin a yarn when he saw people from home (Portugal Cove South). He was so loved and will be deeply missed.
Our sincere thanks to the staff of the kidney dialysis unit, who were so kind to Leroy this past number of years. We would also like to thank the staff of St. Clare’s Fourth Floor East, who cared for Leroy during his recent stay with them.
Visitation at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Trepassey on Thursday, May 5th from 2pm-7pm , and Friday, May 6th from 10am-12pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Redeemer Parish, Trepassey, Friday, May 6th at 1pm with interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Portugal Cove South.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leroy’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Leroy Power January 5 1967 April 15 2022..
