Obituary of Leonard Vickers
Vickers, Hugh Leonard
Leonard passed away at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Monday December 26th, 2022 at the age of 95 years. He was son of the late Hugh Leonard and Georgina (Hardy) Vickers and brother of the late Hedley, Henry, John, Joseph and Raymond Vickers. Leonard was predeceased on March 31st, 2022 by his beloved wife Marjory (McAteer) Vickers. He was the loved and respected father of David (Elizabeth) Vickers, Linda Vickers (Late Sonny), Diane (Scott) MacKay, Tom (Lisa) and Jim (Taryn Harper-Cronier) Vickers. Leonard will be sadly missed by grandchildren Rachel Elliott, Natalie Cockerline, Shane and Ashley MacKay, Mackenzie, Mitchell, Callie, Maureen and Hugh Vickers, Katherine McKibbon, Danny and Holly Milette, numerous great grandchildren and his siblings Gloria (Vic) Bonello, Gerard (late Judy) Vickers and Isabelle (late Duncan) Curry. He will be fondly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, family and good friends.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Friday December 30th, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Johns Church, Perth Saturday December 31st, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception in Farrell Hall. The interment will be held privately at a later date. Those wishing are asked to consider memorial donations to the Recreation Fund of Lanark Lodge.
