With great sadness, we announce the passing of Margo Leonard of Hudson, Quebec on September 2, 2022 at the age of 74, at Suroît Hospital in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.
Margo leaves behind her son Patrick Ferguson (Hollie-Rose Locs), her grandchildren Violet (9), Theodore (7), Benjamin (6) and Lily (3) and her sister Rose Anne Leonard.
She was the daughter of Patrick Leonard and Margaret Perrier. Beginning her life in Belleterre, Quebec and then living in Noranda and Montreal, where she met her former partner, Cam Ferguson. Margo lived more than forty years in Hudson, Quebec.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks for their kindness, to good friends and neighbours, Bruce and Pam Macoubrey of Hudson and to Dr. B. Houde and the on-site staff of Suroît Hospital in Valleyfield.
A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hudson Legion – 56 rue Beach, Hudson, Quebec. The internment of the ashes will occur in 2023 at Hunter’s Point, Quebec.
