Obituary
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a loving husband, dad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, Leonard Critch, of Branch (formerly of Gaskiers, St. Mary’s Bay), aged 55 years, passed at the Placentia Health Care Centre.
Predeceased by his parents, Leonard & Alice Critch, brothers Willie & David, sister Linda Sparrow, wife & mother of his children Deanne Hillier, parents-in-law Peter & Hannah Corcoran, brothers-in-law Albert Corcoran & Mike Taylor and sister-in-law Julia Corcoran. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife Annemarie, daughters Nicole (Michael) and Jodi (Mark); sisters: Jose (Edward), Barb (Jim), Lenora, Jeanette and Anna; aunt Mercedes Critch; brothers-in-law: John (Mike), Dominic Sparrow, Hubert (Margie) and Peter; sisters-in-law: Agnes (William), Winnie (Ronnie), Priscilla (Chris) and Margaret Greening and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, as well as his fur babies Nala Face, Baxter, MJ, Rublynn, Molly, Ginger and Zoey whom he adored dearly.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Thursday, December 29, from 1 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 30, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s, at a time to be announced. Burial to follow.
