It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Toni Lessard on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Lessard. Loving mother to Sharon, the late Glen (Annie), Debbie (Diane), Craig, and Barry (Bridget). Cherished Nan to Melissa (MacLane), Amy (Jason), Eric (Michelle), Mike, Heather, Amanda, Trevor, Scott (Adrienne), Stacey, and Rachel. Proud great grandma to Lila, Courtney, Logan, Hannah, Tyler, William, Charlie, and Ophelia. Dear sister to Marlene. Predeceased by her parents Claude and Margarite Jerome, brothers Ted, Leonard, Ray and sister Teresa. Toni was loving and took pride in creating a Home for family and friends. She was faith filled and was a devoted Catholic. Her gifts of baking and knitting were shared with and enjoyed by many and will forever be cherished. Toni was strong and shared her gifts of love. She will forever be remembered for the fond memories of those welcomed around her kitchen table. Special thanks to Dr. Tobia and the entire staff at Pine Meadow Nursing Home. A visitation will be held from 7-9 pm, Tuesday April 26th at McConnell Funeral Home in Tweed. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am, Wednesday April 27th at St. John the Evangelist Church in Flinton. Masks are recommended. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer’s Society or Pine Meadow Nursing Home are welcomed.
