Dad is survived by his wife Sadie, daughters Leslie (Jim), Karen and sons Trevor, Greg (Atarah) as well as his grandchildren Michael (Jill), Myles, Jared, Gabi, Amelia and Gerard and his great-grandson Lincoln.
Leon was born in Pine Falls and raised in St. Georges Manitoba. He later married Sadie in 1966 and together they raised their family in Winnipeg.
Leon was a very gentle and kind family man who loved his wife and children very much. Always putting his family first and teasing us in loving way. He loved his grandchildren even more as every time he saw them his them his face lit up and his eyes sparkled.
Dad reminded us in a dream to live your life and love those around you and everything else will fall into place. He will be missed with all our hearts!
As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life and private interment will follow at a later date to be determined.
May he Rest in Peace.
