Leon Carl Boise passed away suddenly on August 26, 2022 in Pitt Meadows, BC at the age of 84 years.
Leon was born in Victoria, BC on July 7, 1938. He served in the Canadian Air Force for 7 years, 4 of which he was stationed in France. He loved to go camping in his motorhome and after retirement, spending 3 or 4 months in Palm Springs, CA and Yuma, AZ every winter. He was a big sports fan, cheering on the BC Lions and the Vancouver Canucks. He was an avid bowler for many years, along with playing soccer and baseball.
Leon was a master electrician for over 63 years and an active & proud member of the IBEW Union and Royal Canadian Legion. He was an active & involved member of the co-op where he resided in Pitt Meadows.
Leon will be sadly missed by his wife, Anne of 54 years, his daughter Melissa (Greg), 3 grandchildren Jaime (Jeremy), Donna-Jo (Sam), Shayne (Denelle), his 2 great-grandchildren Quinn and Benjamin, his large extended family, 3 sisters, Carolyn, Irene and Grace, his inlaws & sometimes outlaws, Dave, Joe, Pete, Betty, Bobby and Trisha whom he loved very much. Along with many more extended family and friends.
He was the unofficial “Patriarch” of our family & was very loved by all and will be deeply missed.
