1947-2022
SAINT-CHARLES, NB – Léo-Paul Johnson, 75, of
Saint-Charles passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, at
the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Friday,
December 9th, 2022. Born in Saint-Charles, he was the son of the late
André and Domithilde (Richard) Johnson. Before retiring,
Léo-Paul worked in the seafood transformation
plant.
Léo-Paul leaves to mourn his loving wife, Annette
(Chevarie) Johnson; his two sons, Alfred Chevarie of Saint-Charles and
André Chevarie of Moncton; as well as his three grandsons,
Thomas, Travis and Terrence, all of McKees Mills.
Léo-Paul will also be sadly missed by his two
sisters, Rose-Mai Gallant (late Vincent) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent and
Yvette “Zoé” LeBlanc (François
Babineau) of Rexton; his five brothers, Albert (Lorraine) of Rexton,
Jean-Baptiste (Linda) of Saint-Charles, Emile (late Jeannette) of
Richiboucto, Lorenzo (Lianne) of Barachois and Joe-Louis (Pierrette)
of Quispamsis; his brother-in-law, Eric Thibodeau of Rexton; as well
as by his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Léo-Paul was predeceased by
two sisters, Thérèse Thibodeau and Madeleine
Comeau.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, Richibucto,
Friday from 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. The funeral mass
will be celebrated on Friday, December 16th,
2022 at 4:30 pm, Saint-Charles-Borromée Roman Catholic
Church, Saint-Charles.
