Léo Bastarache
1925-2022
Léo Bastarache, 97, of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of
Adamsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the
Villa du Repos, on Sunday December 11, 2022. He was married to Rita
(Bernard) Bastarache. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of
the late Cécime and the late Adeline (Maillet) Bastarache.
Léo will be sadly missed by his wife Rita, his four children;
Paulette Belliveau (Albert) of Saint-Paul, Dianne Gaudet (Edgar) of
Halifax, Bernice DeBelie of Dartmouth, Paul of Dieppe, four
grandchildren; Michel, Natalie, Marc and Mathieu, eight great
grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one grandson; Daniel, two sisters; Imelda, Norma
and three brothers; Gerard, Eric and René.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic
Church Slumber Room on Monday December 19, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:45 pm
followed by a funeral Mass at the Saint-Paul-de-Kent Church at 3:00 pm
with interment in the Adamsville parish cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
