In Celebration of
Lee Major Hopkins
December 31, 1942 –
May 27, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Lee Hopkins (nee Major) of Milles Isles, Quebec on May 26th, 2022. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Kenneth Hopkins, and her daughter and son-in-law, Wendy Hopkins and Blake Owen. She will also be missed by her siblings Carol Walsh (late Peter) and Tim Major (Nancy) and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Judy (nee Hopkins) and Brian Devey as well as nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews on both side of the family. Lee was born in Montreal and lived there for many years, advancing her career from data entry clerk to accounts receivable and eventually as a Cobol programmer working in the IT department at Concordia while pursuing her interests in music in parallel. Upon retirement, she spent her summers in Lake Becs-Scies (Milles Isles, QC) and her winters in Cocoa, Florida where she made many friends. A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Laurentide’s-Labelle SPCA or to a charity of your choice.
