The staff truly went above and beyond making sure her every need was taken care of keeping her comfortable from when she arrived to her final hours.
Today we say goodbye to a remarkable woman, our mom, our rock and mentor, but most of all she was our best friend.
We have no words to describe the pain your loss is causing us, and we know how hard you fought to stay by our side. This last year has really tested you emotionally and physically and you shined every day, from the beginning of your diagnosis, then two rounds of Chemo, along with another round of a new treatment approach. You accepted the challenge without any complaints. You truly had a zest for life, and you were willing to undergo all of this at the age of 92 for more time to share with us, your grandchildren, and great grandchildren and for this we are also grateful. Ma, we have been blessed to have had you in our lives and we will cherish the memories we all made together forever.
Your journey on this earth was not an easy one but you embraced the path the Lord set forth for you with grace, dignity, and strength. Never complained and never looked back. You filled our home and lives with laughter and love and those are things we will never forget.
You turned your fears into strength, your sorrow into laughter and your pain into love.
Everything you did you did from your heart and expected nothing in return. The purity of your soul was infectious and the light around you was always bright.
So today we say goodbye until we meet again. Ma your work here is done…you can rest and enjoy the Heavens. Go be with Papa, you both have waited many years to reunite. Laugh and dance together, have him take you for a ride on the vespa so the wind can blow in your hair like old times.
We are sure all our beloved family members that have passed are waiting for you with open arms.
Rest In Peace ma we love you more than words can say
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lea Carpino 2022..
