Hurtubise, Lawrence Wilfred “Larry”
Passed away in the comfort of his home in Kingston with his loving wife of 55 years Shirley by his side on Thursday, August 18, 2022. Dear father of Lawrence, Shawn, and Kristopher (Naomi), proud grandfather of Jude, Farrah, Sadie, and Reagan. Brother of Adele Marie Laferriere (the late Ron) and the late Joseph.
Larry had a passion for fishing, he and Shirley always remembered and enjoyed the annual fish fry back at the campground where the rule stood that Larry was responsible for cleaning all the fish. He also enjoyed playing the guitar at the legion during Thursday afternoon jam sessions. A Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
A Funeral Mass to be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 25th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Larry may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimers Society. Condolences and donations may be forwarded through wartmanfuneralhomes.com
