It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Lawrence Edwards of St. Lawrence announces his passing. Lawrence passed away at the U.S Memorial Health Center in St. Lawrence on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 at the age of 84.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Lucy of 62 years; sons, Randy Edwards (Daphne) of St. Lawrence and Glen Edwards (Beth) of Prince Rupert, B.C; daughters, Shelly Doyle (Pat) of St. John’s and Robyn Gardner (Mike) of Palm Coast, Florida; 7 grandchildren, Melissa Slaney (Kyle), Melanie Loder (Adam), Michelle Miller (Chad), Candace Edwards (Dan), Kyri-Lynn Edwards, Megan Doyle (Kyle), and Christopher Doyle (Hilary); 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lynn Baker (Eric), Cecile Turpin, Marg Davey (Alan), Marie Carroll (Joe), Denise Martin (Clarence), Dorothy Reeves (Jim), Caroline Farrell (Stan), and Bertha Hanrahan (Arch); brothers, Ben Edwards, Clem Jr. Edwards (Yvonne), and Fedelis Edwards (Anita) plus a large number of family and friends.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, Clem and Mary Edwards; sisters, Madonna Tilley, Marion Roberts, and Rosalie Slaney
The Edwards Family will be accepting visitors at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence on Thursday, March 17th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Friday, March 18th from 10am to 12pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas RC Church in St. Lawrence on Friday, March 18th, 2022 at 2pm.
Cremation to follow.
In Lawrence’s memory donations may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence..
