Laurie’s Obituary
Langille, Laurie R. – 67, Springhill, formerly of Pugwash Junction, passed away Saturday, March 05, 2022, at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Pugwash Junction he was a son of the late Donald and Goldie (Fisher) Langille. Laurie had worked as a mechanic for the Bill Lynch Midways for several years and later worked as a drywall contractor. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar. He is survived by his children, Donald, Amherst; Brenda (Mark), Oxford; Amanda (Tim), Hilton, Ab.; Jackie (Ron), B.C. ; grandchildren, Brooke and Owen; Cache and Hannah; Destiny, Isabelle and Julian; sister, Clara McLaren, Pugwash Junction; niece, Kimberley (Billy) Allen, Pugwash Junction. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Eden, nephew Jason; brother-in-law, Dale. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Mundle’s Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash. Rev. Connie McNamara officiating. Burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Middleboro. Donations in memory may be made to the QEII Hospital Foundation or the Riverside Cemetery.
