Laurie Nowlan
1925-2022
Laurie Nowlan, 96, of Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste, Bouctouche and
formerly of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at the Manoir
on Tuesday August 16, 2022. He was married to the late
Hélène (Girouard) Nowlan (2008). Born in
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Daniel and the late
Marie (Girouard) Nowlan.
Laurie was a fishermen and a farmer.
He will be sadly missed by his nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his three sisters; Cécilia, Loretta and
Rita as well as his three brothers; Royal, Emile and Léance.
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic
Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Thursday August 18, 2022
from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. A funeral Mass will follow at the
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Church at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish
cemetery.
FACE MASKS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
In Laurie’s memory, donations may be made to the Manoir
Saint-Jean Baptiste or to the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent parish.
