I only got word by co-incidence about Laurie’s passing. She was a good cook at the Limestone Cafe, and at the Bridge Street Retirement Residence. Her brother Doug and sister-in-law Carol used to have bluegrass sessions at my late mother’s house. Doug and Carol were both really nice too. I hadn’t seen any of them in years. Next time I see them will be when we all meet in Paradise with all the angels and saints.
