Laura Watkinson (Arthur)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Laurie Lee Rosemary Watkinson (née Arthur). Laurie passed away peacefully in her home March 17, 2022. She leaves behind her soulmate Ronald Watkinson. Cherished mother of Graham (Cassie), Ron (Jenn), and Mellissa. She will be forever missed by all her grandchildren Trista, Carter, Makenna, Caleb, and Tyson. She leaves behind her mother June Arthur and predeceased by her father Thomas Arthur. Laurie grew up in a family of 6 children, Shirley, Tommy, Tina (predeceased), Angie and Michael who will miss her dearly. She will also be dearly missed by many extended relatives. Laurie was born in Parry Sound, and she ended up meeting the love of her life Ronnie. Together they built a life with their 3 beautiful children as they moved around the province. As long as they were all together, they were happy. Laurie spent most of her life being a homemaker to her family. She was the glue that kept them together. She was so excited to find out the day she was going to be a grandmother. She thought that the title Mom was the greatest gift until she became a grandmother. She loved all her grandchildren and would light up when they would visit. Laurie also had a love for shopping. Her house is not only filled with love but everything sparkly. Laurie will be forever missed and will always shine bright in our hearts.
