1944 – 2022
Passed away on January 9, 2022 at Greater Niagara General Hospital. Loving mother to Marnie (Brian) Varley, and Ken Elder. Cherished Mama to Jeremy (Samantha), Kyle (Alexandria) Ryan and Sean. She is survived by her loving cousins Lorie Warren and Anne Muller. She is pre-deceased by her parents Harald and Eva Sander, her partner down the road of life Ken Elder and her poker foe Klaus Muller. She enjoyed playing rumoli with the girls, family poker night, watching her Buffalo Bills, and Friday night suppers with friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Morse and Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St. Niagara Falls, Ontario. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. The Elder family will have a private interment at Pleasantview Cemetery in April with a party with friends and family after. Details to follow. Memorial donations to the humane society would be deeply appreciated by Laura’s family.
