Obituary of Larry Glenn Zinkhan
It is with great sadness that we share with you that Larry Glenn Zinkhan, age 67 years, has passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Larry leaves to mourn his wife, Sherry; children Christopher, Courtney (Ashleigh), Paul (Kayla) and Veronica; step-children Denita (Tim) and Sterling (Tammy); grandchildren Mackenzie, Jacob, Jaxson, Madison, Andrew, Jae’lyn (Zacc), Adam and Abby; and great-grandchild Malakai. One of his greatest pleasures in life was playing with his children and grandchildren. Larry grew up in Pilot Butte, SK with his siblings, Delores (Alan), Lyle (Judy), Donna (Mitch), and Wanda (Steve). He was predeceased by his brother Lorne (Phyllis); and parents, Bill and Grace Zinkhan. Larry and Sherry still reside in the house Larry grew up in. They enjoyed to travel and garden together. Sherry’s love for flowers rubbed off on Larry, and together they beautifully landscaped their yard. Larry was never a spectator when it came to sports, he wanted to be in the game. He loved to go snowmobiling and fishing with family. Larry loved dogs, but Dobermans held a special place in his heart. In the evenings at home, he enjoyed sitting with family and playing board games, or hooking up his PS4 and gaming with Chris and Paul. Larry loved his model trains. He spent hours in his basement rec room making it into a large train layout. A Graveside Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, correction line in the RM of Edenwold on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Palliative Care Inc. – 4F, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
