Obituary of Larry Chouinard
Chouinard; I. Lawrence – Larry’s family is sad to announce his passing on March 24, 2022 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Lise. Loving father to Natalie (Jim) and Kevin (Kerry). Grandfather to Andy, Adam, Alisha, Alex (MaryBeth), Amanda and Justin. Great-grandfather to Savannah. Also, grandfather to furry family members Jessie, Miko and Nash. Uncle to nephews Stephen and Rob and niece Debbie. Predeceased by his parents (Luella and Lawrence), brother (Bob) and 2 nieces Laurie and Susan.
Larry loved his life fully and enjoyed this last winter golfing in Florida. He was a dedicated family man who loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids.
Larry and Lise met on a dance floor in Montreal and spent 65 years dancing together. Larry came to Kingston in 1968 to start his life-long career of teaching (math and business program) at St. Lawrence College. He was an avid athlete who always had a sport to fill his time. He enjoyed squash, scuba diving, tennis and in his later years golf. If you knew Larry, you knew he always had a sudoku on the go and in his pocket.
The family looks forward to his Celebration of Life with his family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Larry
