Obituary of Larry Brown
Brown, Lawrence “Larry” of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in his 76th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Sharon(Boehm) Brown. Dear father of Dee Hanson(Jeff), Cathy Brown(Barry), David Brown, Bruce Brown, Nina Brown(Kevin), Duane Brown(Catherine), Tamara Henderson(Doug) and Paula Brown. Brother of Margie Tuckwood, Shirley Wilson(Don), Bruce Brown and Helen Fortune(Fred) and brother-in-law of Larry Boehm(Anne), Janet Slater and Jane Ritz. He will be missed by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandson Christian, brother Jimmy(2020), brothers-in-law Dave and Ken, in-laws George and Lillian Boehm. Born in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia on December 23, 1946, son of the late Bruce and Daisy(Allen) Brown. Larry loved working on old cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and car cruising with friends. Larry retired from the Waterloo Regional Housing formerly known as the North Waterloo Housing for over 30 years where he made many friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1:00pm with visitation one hour prior.
