Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Larry Rayment announce his passing on Oct 1, 2022 at Lakeridge Health- Bowmanville Hospital. Beloved son of Sharon (Constable) Mason, the Late Neill Mason (step-dad) and Lawrence Rayment. Larry is also survived by his daughter Kelisha Ott of Sarnia On. His brother Kieran Rayment of Peterborough and sister Heather Rayment of Nesleton On.
Growing up in the Peterborough area and known as “Big Lar” to his family and friends, Larry loved sports and excelled at Rugby, Shot Put and Heavy Weight Lifting competitions.He loved fishing and swimming in the Otonabee River, had a love for animals, listening to music and reading.
In 2020 Larry suffered a motor vehicle accident which left him fighting everyday to regain his life through multiple operations, daily physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions. We would like to give praise and thank you to the Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses, Hospital Staff and Larrys Special Care Team who all worked so hard and diligently to help Larry through this unimaginable difficult time. A special thank you to his Personal Support Worker Cecilia and his Rehab Support Worker Renee, you are truly amazing ladies and were Larry’s Angels. Larry, as well as his family will be forever grateful for each and every one of you for your kindness, compassion and excellent care Larry had received.
