Surrounded by his loving family, Larry James McKay passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022
Larry was born on December 25, 1950 in Ottawa, Ontario. He is survived by his wife Deborah and two children Sean (Jasmine) and Kayla. Larry leaves behind his brother Wayne (Cathy), of Oxford Mills, ON as well as two grandchildren Abigal Vaughan-Baker and Jadienne Vaughan-Baker Liverpool, NS (Melissa Baker – Mother). He is predeceased by his parents Malcom and Elizabeth, Sister Lynn and brother Richard.
Larry graduated from Loyalist College in Belleville, ON with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He began his career in Peterborough, ON in operations and through the years moved across Western Canada ending his career as an Electrical Instrumentation Manager.
Larry had a love of the outdoors and nature and most of all his beloved dogs. Larry was a jack of all trades and was eager and willing to help anyone in need.
Larry will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal. We ask that if anyone is so inclined, they make a donation to an animal rescue organization of their choice in his memory.
