Obituary for
Lanny Bert Auger
On December 27, 2021 Mr. Lanny Bert Auger of High Prairie, AB passed away at the age of 42 years.
Lanny is survived by his parents, Bert and Juliette Auger; brothers, Nick Auger of Edmonton, Scott Auger of Edmonton and Daniel Auger of Calgary; nieces and nephews, Cecily, Jakob and Kuja Vercammen, Felicia Gaunt and Nixon Auger; maternal grandmother, Sophie L’Hirondelle of High Prairie; maternal grandfather, Clarence Cunningham of Peavine and paternal grandmother, Mary Auger of Enilda.
Predeceased by his grandfather, Leo Auger; and cousin, Audrey Auger; uncles, Clayton and Clyde Auger, Steve Cunningham, Rueben and Leroy Auger, and Randal Sawan.
Lanny was and excellent cook and he loved to cook, loved the outdoors: camping, hunting, and fishing. He had a love of animals, especially dogs. He played hockey throughout his childhood and teens. He loved music and karaoke. Lanny loved and was loved by his nieces and nephews. He had special connections with many of his friends’ children.
Celebration of Life Tuesday, January 4 at 3:30 at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 -111 Avenue with Father Susai Jesu OMI officiating.
