Obituary
Lance Kaminski of Churchbridge, SK passed away suddenly on April 6, 2022 at the age of 29 years.
Lance was born on January 16, 1993, in Yorkton, SK to his proud parents Danial and Mona (nee Scobie), and big sisters Ashlee and Jennifer. Lance was baptized on April 11, 1993, at Concordia Lutheran Church and his sponsors were his Auntie Lisa and Uncle Wes Richels.
Lance enjoyed an active life, playing hockey and golf, skateboarding, and hunting, but his true passion was fishing. Lance never missed an opportunity to fish, whether it be alone or with family and friends.
Lance had a strong work ethic and began working as a young man. He worked many jobs throughout his life, starting with roguing fields at the Kaeding Farm, working at World of Water in high school, then moving onto Vanro-Excavating and was presently employed at Mosaic Potash Corp.
Lance was an active member of the Churchbridge Fire Department and Mosaic Mine Rescue.
He loved nature and recently took a trip to Alberta to the mountains and described it as he had been to God’s Land.
Remembering Lance with love and admiration are his partner, Alyssa Schmidt, parents Danial and Mona, sisters Ashlee (Tom) and Jennifer (Curtis), grandmother Sharon Scobie, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, mentors, and special friends.
