It is with enormous sadness we announce the passing of our beloved parents, Lance and Daphne Martin. Lance Hubert Martin passed at home, Caledon East, on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the age of 90 years and Daphne Deloris Martin passed at home on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the age of 84 years. Loving parents of Clayton and his wife Clarissa Martin, and Sonia Martin. Loving grandparents of Danielle Martin, Justine Martin, and Emmanuel Martin Uddenberg. Loving father of Carl Martin, Barry Martin, Trevor Martin, Juliette Martin (deceased), Madge Gayle and Meg Zabsonre (twins). Cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Daphne was the dear sister of Myrtle Mitchell (deceased), Lloyd Mitchell (deceased), Linda Clair (deceased), Joyce Armstrong, Sonny Mitchell, Mervin Mitchell, Minette Howell, Leon Mitchell, and Mercel Barnett.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday, May 19 from 5 – 8 o’clock.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday morning, May 20 at 11 o’clock. The family invites those who wish to join them through live streaming may do so through a live streaming link which will be posted by Friday morning.
Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton.
