It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts the family of Lana
(Golding) Little announces her unexpected passing at the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB., on Monday, October 3,
2022.
Born in McAdam, NB., Lana was the
daughter of the late Robert (Nelson) and Pauline (Griffiths)
Golding.
Lana was well known for her incredible cooking skills and was
famous for her homemade donuts which in the last few years were served
by the Village of McAdam for the Christmas Eve
celebrations.
Lana also had an amazing gift of decorating. Anyone
who visited her home, especially during the holidays, could attest to
it being like something out of a magazine.
She loved her family and was a dedicated praying wife,
mother, and grandmother. She loved helping in her church,
always putting the needs of others ahead of her own, but most of all,
Lana loved serving her Lord and Saviour and lived everyday in the hope
of her eternal home.
Lana is survived by her husband Christopher Little, of
McAdam, NB., children; Heidi (Joe) Middleton of Plaster Rock, NB.,
Tony (Wendy) McIver of Harvey NB., grandchildren; Zachariah (Amanda)
Montgomery, of Edmonton, Alberta, Joshua (Krista) Montgomery, of
Quispamsis, NB, Lana (Justin) Lynch, of Grand Manan, NB., Brayden
McIver, and Haley McIver, of McAdam, NB., brothers; Gary (Nancy)
Golding of New River Beach, NB., Randy (Diane) Golding of McAdam, NB.,
and nine great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lana was predeceased by a very
special granddaughter, Holly Montgomery.
To celebrate her life, friends and family are invited to
attend a funeral service at the McAdam Fellowship Church,13 Oak
Street, McAdam NB, Friday, October 7, 2022, at 2pm
Interment to follow at the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam,
NB.
Family and friends are invited to attend a reception
following the interment at the McAdam Lions Club.
For those who wish, remembrances can be made to the McAdam
Fellowship Church in her honor.
