MOLENAAR, Krijntje (Kathleen) – At Hospice Quinte, on Friday, September 9, 2022. Kathleen Molenaar, of Trenton, in her 94th year. Daughter of the late Peter and Maria Kapteyn. Beloved wife of the late Johannes Molenaar. Loving mother of Peter Molenaar (Norma) of Carrying Place, Wilma Michel (Ed) of Kincardine, Janet Lammers (Peter) of Belleville, Kathy Kennedy (John) of New Bern North Carolina, Joanne Van Til (John) of Oakwood, Nancy DeJong (Rod) of Centreton, the late Mary Michel (surviving Bert, and his wife Margrid), and the late Richard Molenaar. Predeceased by her siblings Paul, Jan Wim, Cornelius, Jake, Peter, Wilhem, Chris, Nel, and Maria. Loved by her twenty-five grandchildren, sixty-five plus great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Molenaar rested at the Rushnell Funeral Centre, 60 Division Street, Trenton. Visitation was held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 18 Fourth Avenue, Trenton, on Monday, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service was held at the Church, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Adam Veenstra officiated. Private Interment followed at Hampton Cemetery. If desired, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Quinte.
