Obituary of Korin Kathy Ford
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Korin Kathy Ford (Veselisin) on Saturday October 29, 2022, at the age of 43. She is survived by her loving children Jessica and Justine, their father Peter Ford, her parents Kathy and Kevin Heimpel, and brother Matt Heimpel (Roberta). She is also remembered by numerous other family and friends near and far, including special and dear aunt, Connie Mayer (Lovett Chetwynd) and Peter’s parents Gordon and Marilyn Ford.
Korin was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces with 2 CER (Combat Engineer Regiment) Petawawa and completed two tours in Afghanistan. After leaving the Military Korin became a Licensed Practical Nurse continuing her desire to help and serve those in need.
A visitation will be held on Monday November 7th, 2022, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street, Oromocto, NB. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations can be made in Korin’s memory to the Oromocto SPCA at 111 D’ Amours St, Oromocto, NB E2V 0G5 or a charity of one’s choice.
