It is with great sadness and broken hearts the family of Koady Daniel “Kenny Johnny Joe Lem-Joe Pete Simon” Chaisson announce his sudden passing which occurred at his residence in Little Harbour on Thursday, January 6, 2022. He was aged 37 years of Bear River, PE. He leaves behind his best friend and adoring wife Chloe Goodyear and dear parents Kenny and Donna Chaisson and parents-in-law Kerry and Klaus Kaldera and Barry and See Goodyear. He will also be deeply missed and forever loved by his siblings Derek (Angela), Dianne (Darren), JJ (Julie), Whitney and in-laws Tamaryn, Thinley and Adrian.
Koady was a compassionate and fun-loving uncle to Callie-Ray, Ty, Landon, Matthew, Brett, Madison-Bo (Riley), Hannah, Ryan, Ella, Brady, Maguire, Jovi, Espe, Kiki, Arlo, Edwyn, Audrey and Fox. In addition, he will be sadly missed by his East Pointers brothers Tim, Jake and Donny and is survived by many cousins whom he dearly loved…It’s impossible to mention all of them. Koady also had a great love for his cats Gordon and Ivy that he called his children.
Predeceased by his grandparents Joe and Margaret Chaisson and Johnny and Marguerite Chaisson, uncles Peter Chaisson, Bennett Campbell, Elmer Deagle, and Bobby Gregory, aunts Helen and Abby Chaisson, Mary Hughes and cousin Chad Chaisson.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home and then to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church where a private funeral mass will take place for family and invited guests. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends “Koady Style” at a later date. If so desired, donations can be made to the Mi’kmaq Family Resource Centre and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
