Obituary of Kerry John Kirkpatrick
KIRKPATRICK, Kerry John
Passed away peacefully after a brief illness with pancreatic cancer at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, on October 26, 2022, in his 64th year. Beloved father of Samantha (Andrew) Cameron of St, Catharines, and Steven (Daniele) of Calgary and their mother Lori Brazeau. Grandfather to Carson, Calleigh, Mason and Letty. Beloved brother of James (Deborah) of Brampton, Kathy White of London. Linda (Bruce) Benninger of Erin, Bishop Wayne of Antigonish, NS. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Pre-deceased by his parents James (1978) and Margaret (Phelan) 2004, brother-in-law John White (1989). Special thanks to Doctor Lund and the staff at Groves Memorial Hospital. From high school Kerry was employed at Euro Motors in St. Catharines and then with Edifice Services Inc. as a mechanic.
Kerry was a long time fan of NASCAR, the Maple Leafs and he enjoyed playing euchre with his brothers and sisters at family events, with many games going late into the night. Kerry was a true handyman, he loved to tinker and repair things. Kerry will be missed deeply.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home in St. Catharines. A private service has taken place with burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto www.sickkids.ca/ or the Canadian Cancer Society.
