Ken Price 1925 2022

Obituary of Ken Price
It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Kenneth Cedric Price announce his passing on November 3, 2022 at the age of 96. He was the son of the late William Hugh and Elsie (Folkins) Price and the husband of the late Bertha (Davidson) Price.
Ken was a hardworking, salt of the earth, give the shirt off his back kind of man. He was a lifelong farmer, always wanted to work the land and was still haying into his 80’s and still mowing his lawn into his 90’s.
He and Bertha made a lifelong passion of their love of Clydesdales. They were always headed to the horse shows, whether it was Saint John, Gagetown or Fredericton and they had the ribbons and trophies to show for it.
Ken was as sharp as a tack and had a memory like no other. Every story had a full image of where he was, who he was with and what they were doing, like it was simply yesterday.
He will be dearly missed by all those who were blessed to have him in their lives.
He will live on in the hearts of his sister, Gladys Mallory and her husband Gerald; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and loving wife, he is predeceased by his brothers: Lawrence and George and by his infant sister, Cora.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176). All arrangements will be held privately.
If you are considering making a memorial donation the family has recommended Paws and Whiskers or the charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
