Kenneth James Ken Hager 1942 2022

Obituary of Kenneth James Hager
Kenneth James Hager passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022, in Strathmore, Alberta surrounded by family and friends.
Ken grew up in Calgary where he helped raise the family. He was thrown into the role of man-of-the-house at an early age. Many of his siblings considered him to be their father.
Ken met Marlene and they were married December 3, 1966. Together they moved the family to Hussar and raised Todd and Troy. Dad was involved in many things; baseball, Lions, curling, hunting, but most of all he enjoyed being with family and friends.
Ken and Marlene moved to Airdrie briefly before moving to Strathmore for the remainder of their lives. Ken and Marlene loved travelling and golf, always with family and friends.
Ken is predeceased by his loving wife, Marlene, and their parents. He is survived by Todd; Troy; and Robin (Leslie), and their sons Colin and Aiden; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Donations in Ken’s memory may be made directly to the Hussar Cemetery Fund.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Hope Community Covenant Church at 2:00 p.m.

  1. Todd & Troy we are so very sorry for your loss. Ken was a great guy with an infectious laugh. We had many great times with Ken & Marlene at the racetrack, and in Phoenix when they came to visit. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathies to you both.
