Kenneth “Ken” James Anderson
October 17, 1932 ~ October 11, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kenneth James Anderson on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Heritage House in the Stettler Hospital, six days shy of his 90th birthday.
Ken will be forever missed by his loving sons Michael (Gail), Jody (Aileen); daughter Trudy (Greg) Allen and grandchildren Dana (Cory), Kyle, Tyler (Emilee), Tanisha (Kolby), and Travis. He will always be remembered by his brother and sisters: Mary Schur, Stanley (Dorothy) Anderson, Shirley (Ken) MacDonald; brothers and sisters in law: Sheila Campbell, Allan (Lois) Stewart, Sherry (Doan) Jamieson; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
To dad’s Heritage House family, we thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the care, kindness, compassion, and love you have shown him over the past 7 ½ years. We are truly indebted to you, and we know “Papa/Grandpa” will miss all of you.
Ken was predeceased by his wife Jean Anderson, parents Percy and Nellie Anderson, siblings: Edward Anderson, John David “Jack” Anderson, and Joyce Leadlay; in laws: Florence Anderson, Orest Schur, Isabella and Jack Stewart, Lorne Stewart, Al Campbell, nephew Kevin Leadlay, niece Stacey Stewart, great niece Teckla Anderson, and great nephew Brandon Schur.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes no formal funeral service will be held.
Donations are gratefully accepted to Stettler Health Services Foundation – Heritage House, Bag 500, 5912-47 Avenue, Stettler, AB T0C 2L0.
