Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Kenneth Rideout, age 72 years, of Valley Pond, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
He is predeceased by his parents Dorman & Mildred and sister Rose.
Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 50 years, Phyllis, daughter Dana (Dave), son Darrell (Morgan), granddaughters Gracie, Mia, grandson Noah whom he loved dearly, sisters Beverly (Kevin), Velma (Reg), Lorraine (Dionne), Ruby and brother-in-law Edward as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Kenneth was born to the late Dorman & Mildred Rideout in Western Hr., NL on September 20, 1949. On October 8, 1971 he married the love of his life Phyllis Young of Chanceport, NL. His friendly nature was for the outdoors, on the salt water fishing and hunting. Kenneth’s sense of humor made it a joy to be around with his family and friends whom meant the world to him. He certainly loved life to the fullest.
He worked in the Buchans Mine and with Abitibi Price. Then fished for a living until 9 years later due to illness was unable to work, but still continued to enjoy fishing, hunting, turring and hanging on the wharf for yarns and laughs with all his buddies.
