Kenneth Percy Blair
– 79, of Truro passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at home.
Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Murray William Blair
(stepmother, Rita Blair) and Rita Mia (Fielding) Rice (stepfather,
Frank Rice).
Ken worked for many
years as a mail handler at the post office in Brantford, Ontario for
many years. After his retirement, he enjoyed walks, mingling with his
friends over coffee and buying clocks. Ken always loved spending time
with his grandchildren.
Ken is survived by his
son, Bradley “Bones” Blair of Lumby, British Columbia;
daughters, Shannon Blair (Steven Hansen) of Lakefield, Ontario and
their children, Jeremy, Matthew, and Alyssa; Cheryl Blair (Rick
McMillan) of Edmonton, Alberta and their children, Jonathan and
Cheris; Sherri (Jermaine) Ashe of Amherst and their son, David; son,
Michael Calvin Blair (deceased) and his children, Kirsten, Sammy and
Skyler; brother, Fred (Anne) Blair of Hilden; great grandchildren,
Joseph, Carson, Cooper and Remi; nieces, Kelly of Truro and Tracy of
Brantford, Ontario; nephew, Wade Paton of Brantford, Ontario; and
companion, Lou Howell of Truro.
He was predeceased by
his son, Michael Calvin Blair; sisters, Maxine (Art) Jollimore;
Shirley Blair.
A private family
burial will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations in
Ken’s memory to a charity of choice are
welcomed.

entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young
