Kenneth Paul Ken St Denis 2022

ST.DENIS, KENNETH PAUL
On August 10 2022, after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer, Ken, 83 years, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus. Dearest loving husband of 62 years to Bernice (nee Kemp), cherished father of Michelle (Walt), Glenn (Marlene), the late Stephen (1979) Luanne (Dave) and Kathleen (Chris). Beloved Papa to Aaron, Amanda, Beth, Stephen, Kevin, Emma, Rachel, Ryan, Robert, Kristen, Katie, Megan and Sarena and great grandfather to Chase, Audrey, Leo, Quinn and Claire. Son of Morton (1977) and Edna (2007) and brother to Bernice, Shirley and Don (2015).
Ken’s Catholic faith was the centre of his life and he was a long time parishioner at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. He volunteered as reader, Eucharistic minister at Extendicare Nursing Home, funeral server, and was a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus serving as past Grand Knight.
Ken worked for 32 years as a grocery dept. manager at Dominion. He loved fishing and his Detroit Tigers, but most of all enjoyed the times spent with his family.
Thank you to the prayer partners of the Knights of Columbus Council, special friend and Brother Knight Terry Bachmeier, Dr. Bergeron and the Hospice Care team, Paramed nurses and the Palliative Care Unit at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. The ongoing love and support from Marilyn, Bob and Kevin Deschaine has been deeply appreciated by our family. Donations to Our Lady of Guadalupe Home of Windsor or Hospice of Windsor and Es County would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Monday August 15, 2022 from 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt.Carmel Parish, 4401 Mt.Royal Dr., until time of the Mass and Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
