Kenneth Osterlind Sunday February 6th 2022

Osterlind, Kenneth
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Osterlind at the age of 85 years on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Toronto Western Hospital. Beloved son of John and Mabel Osterlind (Bland). Predeceased by his sister Jean Helen and brother Lloyd. A longtime resident of Toronto, Kenneth enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing shuffleboard with his Canadian Legion friends. He was also a great cook and had a particular devotion for the Incarnation of Our Lord making sure his Nativity Scene was displayed in his room at Kensington all year round. A hockey fan, he enjoyed the companionship of his nurses watching the games while they were on break. Kenny was a kind and compassionate individual and possessed a strong sense of social justice and fairness especially for the poor. The family thanks the staff at Kensington Gardens and the University Health Network for the superlative care and attention they provided Kenny over the years – and especially during this time of pandemic. Skal Kenny and Miigwech for the smelts!
